General Location:

Stocking Island, Exuma, Bahamas is one of the small islands in the Exuma chain of approximately 365 islands. The island is approximatlely 4 miles long by 1/2 mile wide.  The western side fronts Elizabeth Harbor; the eastern side is bounded by Exuma Sound.  Stocking island has three interior "hurricane holes" termed "lagoons". These have narrow entrances and are generally protected anchorages.    This property borders the most protected lagoon, Turtle Lagoon.  It is approximately 15 feet deep with a very narrow entrance.  It is inhabited by sea turtles, several species of rays, various marine life, and can be a productive bonefishing location.

 Getting Here:

Stocking Island is one mile across Elizabeth Harbor from George Town, Exuma.  Daily flights arrive in Exuma (GGT) from Miami and Fort Lauderdale, approximately 1 hr. flying time.  There are also regularly scheduled non-stop flights from Toronto and Atlanta.  Other international flights connect through Nassau (NAS), a 30 minute flight from Exuma.

Property Description:

This property consists of Lot 3E and Lot 4 on Stocking Island. The eastern side of the property fronts Turtle Lagoon with fixed and floating docks and moorings,  ideal marina potential.  The frontage on the lagoon totals 341 feet .

The harbor side of the property has 406 feet of waterfrontage, being white sand beach and ironshore.

The contour of the property rises from beach to an elevation of approximately 35 feet with panoramic views .
